Governor Ahmad Aliyu has reaffirmed his administration’s determination to make Sokoto State economically vibrant through various reforms and development initiatives.

He made this known while declaring open the 12th Regular Executive Council Meeting for the year 2025.

Governor Aliyu reiterated his commitment to sustaining the people-centered projects currently being executed across the state, noting that they are designed to improve the living standards of citizens.

“I want to reassure you of our determination to ensure a new Sokoto State that our generation and those yet unborn would be proud of,” the Governor said.

“We will continue to prioritize infrastructural and human development as part of our overall efforts to advance our dear state,” he added.

The Governor also restated his administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges affecting parts of the state through continuous collaboration with security agencies.

“We will not relent in our efforts to ensure peaceful coexistence and lasting peace in our dear state,” he stated.

Governor Aliyu solicited the support and cooperation of all well-meaning citizens to enable the government to achieve its development goals.

He further commended members of the State Executive Council for their positive contributions, which he said have greatly helped in recording the successes achieved so far.

The Governor also expressed appreciation to the people of Sokoto State for their continued support and prayers for his administration and called for their sustained goodwill.
