The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu and Nigerians for 26 years of unbroken democracy.

Bishop Adegbite noted that Nigeria’s steady and workable democracy since 1999 is a feat worth celebrating.

Tis was contained in the statement signed by the Deputy Director and Head Media and Public Relations, Celestine Toruka stating that Bishop Adegbite urged President Tinubu to continue ensuring Nigerians reap the dividends of democracy through his Renewed Hope Agenda. He admonished Nigerians to have faith in God and the present administration for guidance and direction.

He further enjoined spiritual leaders to uphold the President, his team, and Nigeria in prayer for economic growth. Additionally, he urged security agencies to build strong synergy to fight terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping in the country.

Bishop Adegbite expressed optimism that despite challenges, Nigeria will soon overcome them. He emphasized the importance of faith and prayer in guiding the nation.
