    Senate Commends JAMB, Registrar

    The Chairman, Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), Senator Muntari Mohammed Dandutse on Friday appreciated the effort of JAMB registrar, Prof Oloyede on his transparency and sanity towards Unified Tertiary Maticulation Examination ( UTME).

    The Senator Dandutse made this commendation when he and his senate committee members monitored the UTME at Government Secondary School (GSS) in Wuse Zone 3, FCT, Abuja

    According to the Senator JAMB registrar has bring transparency and sanity in all the examination malpractices in the JAMB set up. With that , he commended him in what he has done.

    “What is important and very formidable, JAMB has taken care of it, even if there is any examination malpractices or anything. JAMB have Closed Circuit Television ( CCTV) they used to monitors all their sites throughout the country,” he said.

    Also he said that JAMB set a standard of making sure that nobody will be admitted without passing the examinations

    “IT is timely to support and enhance education system in Nigeria. Our essence as lawmakers is to ensure that all Nigerians are suppose to study here in Nigeria so as to develop our country Nigeria. We have no other country than Nigeria,” he added.

    Furthermore, he said that we have to work very hard to ensure that our children study well and deserved to be given the opportunity to serve in the capacity as spiritual leaders so that they can be trained professionally in all aspect of academic excellent example in Science, Arts or Medical and other related courses as commendable to JAMB’s effort.

    Later, the Senate Committee visited Aduvie International School, Jahi FCT, Abuja.
