A Nigerian female evangelist, Apostle (Dr.) Ezinne Ijeoma, has unveiled a charity organisation, Face of Joy International, which seeks to put smile son the faces of poor and deprived Nigerians.
Apostle Ijeoma, who is based in the United Kingdom, unveiled the organisation at an elaborate ceremony attended by a retinue of Nigeria’s evangelists and charity organisations at Merit House in Abuja, weekend.
Speaking at the event, Apostle (Dr.) Ijeoma said the establishment of the organisation was in response to a vision from God.
According to her, the vision has so far taken her and her team to several nations of the world where they have empowered lives and destinies with visible changes.
Apostle Ijeoma stated that the mandate of the charity organization is to alleviate poverty and put smiles on the faces of the people.
“This charity organization has come all the way from the United Kingdom and is today in Nigeria.
“As the convener of the face of Joy, I have passed through challenges and I know that one day my challenges will turn into joy.
“I believe that Face of Joy has a mission here in Nigeria to transform lives through empowerment , workshop and teaching.
“Also to encourage people to believe in themselves that they can do it and become better citizens of Nigeria rather than waiting on the government and the society”, she said.
Earlier in his speech, the founder of the Liberty House Intentional Faith, Bishop (Dr) Paul Nnamdi Ijeoma, said the Face of Joy International is an expression of love.
Bishop Ijeoma whose ministry has outlets in Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya, noted that the charity organization is a channel through which the less privileged in the society will be assisted.
He, however, advised the government to subsidize food as the nation is experiencing a critical economic hardship.
Eulogizing Apostle Ijeoma on the founding of the charity organization, Bishop Ijeoma said “Dr Ijeoma Ezinne is such a wonderful person who has a heart of Christ. Only God can give the appropriate word for her heart for humanity”.
Meanwhile, several widows were empowered during the unveiling ceremony which was attended by renowned preachers and gospel ministers within and outside Nigeria.
