The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has signed a contractual agreement with an Air Carrier and Ground Handlers for the airlift and ground handling operations for the 2024 Christian Pilgrimage exercise.
The event, which took place at the Commission’s Corporate Headquarters was witnessed by the approved Air Carrier and Ground Handlers.
Bishop Adegbite described the signing of the agreement as an epoch-making event, coinciding with the one-year anniversary of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
He emphasized the importance of fairness, respect, and dignity in the Commission’s relationships with its service providers.
The Executive Secretary reiterated the Commission’s commitment to transparency and adherence to procurement procedures, ensuring a wonderful relationship with stakeholders.
He highlighted the Commission’s new Corporate Slogan, “Service and Satisfaction,” which prioritizes satisfaction for all parties involved.
The Chairman of NCPC, Rt. Rev. (Prof.) Cletus Gotan, thanked President Bola Tinubu for the confidence reposed in the board and commended the Executive Secretary for his efforts in ensuring transparency and integrity.
He emphasized that it would no longer be business as usual, as the Commission is committed to doing things right.
Seven service providers participated in the signing of the agreement, including one Air Carrier and six Ground Handlers.
