    NCPC Boss Receives Tour Operations Coy Boss

    The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has received a courtesy visit from the Chief Executive of Simba Tours and Travel, Ethiopia, Mr. Woubeshet Alemayehu, at the NCPC headquarters on August 11, 2025.

    This was contained in the statement by the Deputy Director and Head Media and Public Relations, Celestine Toruka, During the meeting, Bishop Adegbite expressed his willingness to support Christian tour operators who desire to partner with the Commission to advance the cause of Christian pilgrimage. He noted that Ethiopia boasts numerous Christian holy sites and churches, which the Commission could explore, having personally visited the country and witnessed its rich Christian heritage.

    Mr. Alemayehu informed the NCPC boss that Simba Tours and Travel is poised to partner with the Commission as the official ground handler for Nigerian Christian pilgrim groups in Ethiopia. He explained that his company works closely with Obamark World Travels, their official partner and key representative for pilgrimage tours.

    The CEO highlighted that Simba Tours and Travel, in collaboration with Obamark World Travels, has hosted several familiarization trips for senior Nigerian Christian leaders and high-level delegations to key religious and historical sites in Ethiopia, including Lalibela, Gondar, and Addis Ababa.

    Mr. Alemayehu was accompanied on the visit by Mr. Solomon Nwachukwu, CEO of Obamark World Travels.
