The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has pledged his full support to the newly appointed Executive Secretary of the Nasarawa State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Dr. Alfa Yusufu, who paid him a courtesy visit alongside his management team at the NCPC Corporate headquarters in Abuja.

He charged Dr. Yusufu to ensure transparent service to humanity and God, regardless of the challenges they may face.

The NCPC Chief Executive intimated Dr. Yusufu that he started with nothing and gave thanks to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for supporting the Commission, enabling it to successfully conduct its 2024 Main Pilgrimage exercise to Israel and Jordan.

He assured Dr. Yusufu of his full support and promised to maintain contact with the Nasarawa State government to ensure the needed support for sponsoring more pilgrims in the state.

Bishop Adegbite lauded Dr. Yusufu, saying, “With your coming, I believe Nasarawa State is blessed with someone of your caliber and pedigree; you are a round peg in a round hole.” He also called for prayers for Nigeria.

Dr. Alfa Yusufu expressed his desire to meet with the NCPC boss and was looking forward to having a beautiful tutelage. He was grateful for the audience and requested support for the Nasarawa State CPWB.

The management team that accompanied Dr. Yusufu included Mrs. Anne Jatau, Director Administration and Supply; Mrs. Grace Alkali, Director of Finance and Accounts; Mr. Luku Allu, Director of Pilgrims Operations; and Mr. Musa Dukakis, Head of Internal Audit.
