The Director of Press at the Federal Ministry of Education, Mrs Folasade Boriowo, has been honoured with an Executive Fellowship Award by the Institute of Corporate Administration.

This is in recognition of her remarkable contributions to public service and media management.

The award was presented during the Institute’s 2nd Quarter Conference on the New Leadership Series, celebrating excellence in leadership across sectors.

A native of Osun State, Boriowo was born into the family of the late Adeoye Adelekun. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics Education from Obafemi Awolowo University and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Ilorin.

Her professional experience spans more than three decades, having served in various capacities at Osun State MAMSER, the Federal Ministry of Information, and currently the Federal Ministry of Education. Over the years, she has built a reputation for excellence, innovation, and professionalism in public communication and media engagement.

Dr. Ibrahim Simon, who represented the Institute of Corporate Administration at the event, lauded Mrs. Folasade’s commitment to public service and effective communication. He described the award as a fitting tribute to a leader whose impact resonates across the education sector and beyond.
