The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) has announced that it will airlift the last batch of intending Christian pilgrims to Israel and Jordan on 20th March, 2025.

It will be the 13th batch to be airlifted since the commencement of the 2024 Main Pilgrimage Exercise on 22nd December, 2024.

The Executive Secretary of the NCPC, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, made this announcement during a prayer devotion at the Commission’s Chapel in Abuja on Thursday, 13th March, 2025.

In a statement issued to the pressmen by the Deputy Director and Head, Media and Public Relations, Celestine Toruka said Bishop Adegbite expressed excitement over the successful airlift of the 12th batch of Christian pilgrims, who departed from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on 12th March, 2025, for Israel and Jordan.

He announced that the 12th batch of Christian pilgrims arrived safely in Amman, Jordan, in the early hours of Thursday.

The NCPC boss expressed gratitude to God for the success recorded so far since the commencement of the 2024 Main Pilgrimage Exercise.

He urged Nigerians to continue praying for President Bola Tinubu and the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as well as the success of the President’s reformation programmes for Nigeria.

“I urge you all to pray for the success of Mr. President’s reformation programmes for Nigeria,” Bishop Adegbite said. “The best is yet to come.”

He expressed optimism that by the time the President crystallizes his plans for Nigeria, the country will be better for it.
