The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has said that the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to qualify students for admission into universities across the country in 2024 will hold in the month of April.

Specifically, it said the examination will hold between April 19 and April 29, 2024.

A statement from JAMB, signed by its Public Communication Advisor (PAC), Fabian Benjamin, said the decision followed a series of recommendations emanating from a two-day Information Technology (IT) and Management Retreat of the examination board.

According to him, the retreat, which held between 26th and 28th, November, 2023, also schedule the sale of JAMB forms to commence on 15th January and terminate on 26th February, 2024.

That statement also disclosed that the 2024 Mock-UTME will hold on 7th March, 2024 to put students in the mood for the final examination in April.

JAMB said “Candidates are expected to print their examination slips as from 10th April, 2024. Candidates are enjoined to take note of these dates and other advisories issued by the Board in relation to the administration of the examination.”

It further urged candidates to visit the JAMB website for any other information.
